We built the second opinion we wanted
Serious investors deserve institutional-grade analysis. We built Bloomarq after failing to find a tool that provided it.
Francisco spent years building portfolio analysis tools for equity investors at a financial data company. He saw the same access gap from both sides: smaller professional operations were using institutional-grade tools to do work that should take hours, while individual investors with comparable market knowledge and rigor had far less information.
The gap was access, not sophistication. Research desks at large firms stress-test strategies, track concentration risk, and use quantitative signals. Individual investors and small advisory operations relied on spreadsheets and charting tools that showed prices, not risk.
Bloomarq was founded in Miami in 2025 to close that gap. We built a tool for serious individual investors that works through your actual holdings, runs real historical scenarios on your strategies, and explains the results in language that supports better decisions.
We are early, with a focused product and mission. We are not a brokerage, robo-advisor, or investment platform. We are building the second opinion you did not have access to before.
The people building Bloomarq
Francisco Meré built portfolio analysis tools for equity investors at a financial data company before starting Bloomarq. He focuses on making institutional-grade analysis available to individual investors and on how quantitative signals become investment decisions. He is based in Miami's financial district.
Maya Thornton: distributed systems and financial data infrastructure. She built real-time data pipelines and analytics backends for market data applications. Portfolio analysis completes in under 30 seconds, based on our internal benchmark testing.
David Keane has a background in quantitative equity research, backtesting frameworks, and investment risk methodology for individual and professional investors. He builds plain-language analysis from raw market data at Bloomarq.
Three things we will not compromise on
Clarity over complexity
Risk in language that leads to better decisions, not reports you have to decode. Every output should give you something to act on.
Honest analysis
We report when a strategy underperformed, not only when it beat the market. If concentration is high, we say so. Insight that flatters is not useful.
Investor-first design
For people who manage their own money, not firms managing yours. Interface, language, and features reflect how individual investors actually work.
